The history of The Eric Ryan Corporation dates back to 1990 and has come a long way in becoming one of the most recognizable auditing firms in the nation.  ERC is currently an established and well respected Corporation operating in the 21st Century, but its roots grew and stepping stones were laid many years ago.

Utility bill and telecommunication bill auditing was the first major vision founding C.E.O. Keith Venezie had when he envisioned ERC.  While working for several companies throughout the 1980's, his role of reviewing his employers utility and telecom bills set the foundation for his visions.

Mr. Venezie later made his leap of faith and began establishing his auditing idea in a small office in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.  His initial team consisted of only four individuals with Mr. Venezie's own mother putting hours of work in, often times for no pay.  It took time, but eventually the team and auditing opportunities grew and the auditing company Mr. Venezie had visualized was a success.  The name, Utility Cost Cutters (UCC).

A moderately successful company in its first 5 years, Utility Cost Cutters provided millions of dollars in utility bill savings for such major companies as Siemens Westinghouse and Dan River Mills, along with many school districts across Western Pennsylvania.  With a strong client base established, the sole proprietorship became a corporation with Mr. Venezie naming the company in honor of his two sons, Eric and Ryan.

Since incorporating in 1995, The Eric Ryan Corporation has added a variety of "value added" services such as energy procurement, energy site audits, telecommunications consulting, document scanning, and bill payment services.  The Eric Ryan Corporation now has become one of the largest auditing firms in the country.
